Renee Lukas is a comedy feature film screenwriter.
She’s had two offers from major studios. She’s an Academy Nicholl quarterfinalist, a quarterfinalist in Scriptapalooza, a finalist in the Slamdance TV scriptwriting contest, a quarterfinalist in Screencraft comedy funding, and a script reader for the BlueCat screenwriting competition. She’s worked with an award-winning producer (Lord of the Rings, The Witcher) on feature film and TV scripts. Live action and animation.
She’s a member of the ISA (International Screenwriter’s Association) and the Writers’ Group in Women and Hollywood.
She chose a writing career because she loves making up stories and it keeps her away from math.
UPDATE: Her recent comedy feature script, THE DEAD END JOB, has made the Top 50 Finalists in the ISA Fast Track Fellowship.
